On the 30th March* 2017 the University are taking part in Wear a Hat Day to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
The centre carries out groundbreaking research into brain tumours, working tirelessly to glean new layers of understanding about this disease.
Brain tumour research is woefully under-funded and so your support is desperately needed and is very much appreciated.

Science Faculty Fundraising
The Science Faculty will be taking part in the event by wearing silly hats and will have a donation bucket available in the Faculty Office in St Michael's Building. Please find and wear to work or class your silliest hat to make people smile and make a donation! Take pictures of your efforts and tweet them using the hash tag #wearahatday or #closertoacure. You could also tag @braintumourrsch or @uopscience in your tweets.
If you are unable to donate in person please consider donating via our faculty fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/UoPScienceFaculty
